The IQ3 BACnet controllers are Building Management System controllers that use BACnet protocol over Ethernet and TCP/IP networking technologies. Each controller incorporates a web server which can deliver user-specific web pages to a PC or mobile device running internet browser software. If a system is set up with the correct connections, a user with the appropriate security codes can monitor or adjust the controller from any Internet access point in the world. It is also compatible with the traditional IQ system protocol.

NOTE ON POINTS CALCULATIONS: The IQ3xact controllers were replaced by the IQ422 controllers in June 2013. As such the points calculator will show the option of IQ422 instead of IQ3xact. Should MSTP routing capability be required please replace IQ422 model with its equivelant IQ3xact/BINC model. For full details of this product please see IQ422 section of ecatalogue.

This tool does not calculate any additional power supplies required for the i/o modules. Please refer to the requirements for powering the modules as stipulated in the IQ3xcite training course.
The IQ3xcite Points Calculator aims to calculate the controllers and modules required in the most cost effective manner. In cases this may mean that modules are fitted to the controller where some points on those modules cannot be connected within the controller firmware. In such cases we suggest the connectors are removed or other indication is made.
